Overview
Web Designer role at ECS. This position is contingent upon contract award. ECS is seeking a Web Designer to work in our Quantico, VA office.
The Department of the Army Criminal Investigation Division (DACID) is a United States Army Law Enforcement (LE) staff position reporting directly to the Secretary of the United States Army that handles felony investigations in coordination with multiple U.S. Army law enforcement agencies; Department of the Army Criminal Investigations Division (DACID); United States Army Corrections Command (ACC); Defense Forensic Science Center (DFSC) and Criminal Justice Information Directorate (CJID). DACID supports the Military Police (MP) and criminal investigation activities in partnership with local, state, federal, and other DoD law enforcement, investigative, and intelligence agencies.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for designing and building SharePoint (Microsoft 365) sites using a variety of graphics software applications, techniques and tools.
- Designs and develops user interfaces, site animation, and visual elements for SharePoint.
- Designs the SharePoint site to support the organization's strategies and goals relative to the government's requirements.
- Analyzes customer needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within designated timeframe.
- Conducts customer testing of newly designed software sites for proper functionality.
- Develop software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation.
- Requires knowledge of cybersecurity, privacy principles, computer networking concepts, protocols, network security methodologies, risk management framework, software related information technology security principles and methods.
- Skilled in conducting software debugging.
- Knowledge of the capabilities and functionality associated with content creation technologies (wikis, social networking, content management systems, blogs).
- Ability to effectively collaborate and communicate with others.
- T5 Closed completed T5 (SSBI, SBPR, PPR) investigation with eligibility to Top Secret.
- 5+ years of relevant experience.
Required Skills
- MS/MA in Computer Science degree with concentration in web development and 10 years experience or BA/BS in Computer Science degree with concentration in web development and 12 years experience.
- T5 Closed completed T5 (SSBI, SBPR, PPR) investigation with eligibility to Top Secret.
- Must have a total of three (3) Microsoft Certifications consisting of a combination of the following:
- Two (2) of the following Microsoft Certifications: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate; Three (3) role based requirements.
- OR at least one (1) role based Microsoft Certification or three (3) role based Microsoft Certifications: Power BI Data Analyst Associate; Power Platform Fundamentals; Azure Data Scientist Associate; Azure AI Engineer Associate; AI Engineer Associate (365); Power Platform App Maker Associate; Power Automate RPA Developer Associate; Teams Application Developer Associate; Azure Data Engineer Associate; Azure Developer Associate; Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate.
Desired Skills
- Master's Degree in related IT field.
