Job Title: Customs Entry Writer Contract - 1 year (eligibility for extension) Pay range - $24 - $28/per hour Benefits - Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, Life, 3 weeks accrued PTO Process assigned customs entry documents and related filings accurately and in a timely manner, including ISF and Customs Entry filing Maintain and update customer/importers profiles Determine and track duties and taxes payable; Handle accounting processes as they apply to CHB including the issuance of invoices to customers or overseas offices as well as the processing of payment requisitions Ensure maximum customer service satisfaction through interaction with clients and other company business units; provide timely responses to customer inquiries and status requests Notify management of any customer complaints or entry discrepancies and provide suggestions to resolve issues Review and distribute documentation to ensure regulatory compliance of participating government agencies Adhere to regulatory compliance and procedures/productivity standards Support other team members with accounts and workload on day-to-day operations 3 years of Entry Writing experience ~~3 years of Logistics, Freight, International Transportation, and Customs related experience ~ High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor Degree preferred ~ Ability to do multi-task to ensure daily brokerage operations are successfully completed ~ Ability to create and maintain professional relationships with customers ~ Proficient in Microsoft Office: especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook Pay range is $24 - $28 per hour with full benefits available, including paid time off, medical/dental/vision/life insurance, 401K, parental leave, and more.
