Adjunct - Advanced UX Design Instructor Job at Husson University in Bangor

Overview

This advanced course explores in-depth user experience design concepts and strategies including agile user experience design processes, user research, generative design, conceptual design, emotional design, prototyping, and user experience evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Provide students proper instruction with content, and utilize text books required for this course to achieve programmatic objectives
• Accurately track and assess student progress and maintain Husson University standards
• Advising the Academic Director on proposed curricular changes
• Assisting the department in experiential assessments & exercises where appropriate
• Assist in the research and assessment of industry trends and future technologies concerning curriculum
• Gathering data and preparing detailed documents
• Representing the School off campus when appropriate
• Serving on committees, as appropriate
• Performing other duties as assigned by the administration

Qualifications

Education: Masters Degree Required. MFA or other terminal degree preferred.

Experience: At least 1-3 years of work experience in related field. College level teaching experience preferred.

Compensation and Supplemental Information

• Undergraduate Course: Masters Prepared $933.33 maximum per credit hour*
• Undergraduate Course: Doctoral or Equivalent Prepared $1,016.67 maximum per credit hour*
• Graduate Course: Masters Level Prepared $1,016.67 maximum per credit hour*
• Graduate Course: Doctoral or Equivalent Prepared $1,100.00 maximum per credit hour*
• Lab Sections Undergraduate: Masters Prepared $1,150.00 per credit hour
• Lab Sections Doctoral or Equivalent Prepared $1,250.00 per credit hour

*Rate is dependent upon the number of students enrolled in the course assigned.
