Executive Director of US Marketing (Oncology) Overview

The Senior/Executive Director of US Marketing (Oncology) will lead the development and execution of U.S. commercial marketing strategies for the companys oncology portfolio. This leader will be responsible for shaping brand positioning, driving HCP engagement, and overseeing strategic campaigns that support product adoption and growth. The role requires deep oncology expertise, proven success in U.S. HCP-focused marketing, and demonstrated leadership of high-performing teams. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership:

Develop and implement U.S. oncology brand and portfolio marketing strategies aligned with corporate goals. HCP Marketing:

Design and execute innovative, compliant HCP engagement campaigns, including congress strategy, speaker programs, digital initiatives, and peer-to-peer education. Market Insights:

Leverage deep understanding of the oncology landscape, customer needs, and competitive environment to shape messaging, positioning, and go-to-market approaches. Team Management:

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of marketing professionals, fostering collaboration, accountability, and growth. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Partner closely with sales, medical affairs, and market access, to ensure alignment and execution excellence. Brand Performance:

Define KPIs, track campaign effectiveness, and adjust strategies based on performance analytics and customer insights. Stakeholder Engagement:

Build strong relationships with external stakeholders including KOLs, advocacy groups, and professional societies to strengthen brand credibility and presence. Compliance:

Ensure all marketing initiatives adhere to regulatory and compliance standards.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred. 12+ years of progressive commercial experience in biopharma, with at least 7+ years in oncology marketing. Demonstrated success in developing and executing U.S. HCP marketing strategies for oncology products (launch and in-market). Proven leadership experience managing and developing teams. Strong business acumen with the ability to translate market insights into impactful strategies. Excellent communication, collaboration, and influencing skills across all levels of the organization. Track record of successfully partnering with sales and cross-functional stakeholders to achieve business goals.
