COMMUNITY MANAGER

Experienced Community Manager – Philadelphia, PA 

Salary:               $80,000 plus bonus

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of community.
  • Recruit, hire, train, mentor and develop staff.
  • Oversee leasing activities and ensure community is compliant with local and fair housing laws.
  • Manage collection of rent and meet company delinquency expectations.
  • Strive for maximum occupancy at all times and high renewal rates.
  • Prepare budgets and meet NOI expectations.
  • Provide excellent customer service, assist residents with concerns and complaints.
  • Oversee maintenance team and overall condition of community.
  • Walk units and conduct inspections.
  • Comply with fair housing laws and company policies.
  • Meet all reporting deadlines.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • College degree preferred, not required.
  • 2+ years of multifamily residential property management experience with 2+ years in supervisory role.
  • Yardi experience required.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, pleasant demeanor.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Problem solving, project management and analytical skills required.
  • Reliable transportation.
