Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Marketing Manager to support the implementation of promotional strategies for Vibram’s footwear component products, with a focus on the Industrial Market and Repair segments. This role is pivotal in enhancing brand awareness and reputation among end consumers through innovative marketing campaigns, events, digital engagement, and cross-functional collaboration.
The ideal candidate will possess strong project management, analytical, and creative skills, along with a deep understanding of consumer behavior, marketing trends, and branding strategy—especially in industrial or product-driven sectors.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activities to develop targeted marketing strategies.
- Collaborate with the VP of Sales & Marketing and the VP of Innovation to define positioning and tactics that drive awareness and engagement.
- Develop and monitor KPIs to assess marketing performance and campaign ROI.
Campaign Development & Execution
- Plan, execute, and evaluate integrated marketing campaigns across channels (digital, print, in-store, events).
- Manage budgets and allocate resources effectively to ensure impact and alignment with strategic objectives.
- Utilize data analytics to continuously refine campaigns, messaging, and channel mix.
Tactical Marketing Activities
- Support organization and execution of external events, including product launches, tradeshows, clinics, and brand presentations in the U.S. and abroad.
- Coordinate with external vendors and partners including advertising agencies, printers, and event suppliers.
- Create or manage development of marketing materials (brochures, product sheets, point-of-sale content, etc.).
- Oversee the planning and execution of direct marketing and advertising campaigns (online and offline).
- Contribute to in-store communication strategies and material development.
- Identify and nurture strategic collaborations to amplify brand exposure.
- Facilitate corporate communication and branding for Northeast corporate locations.
Digital & Web Marketing
- Collaborate with web marketing team on content creation and updates to the corporate website.
- Implement SEO/SEM strategies to optimize digital presence and lead generation.
- Support social media and online advertising initiatives tied to business objectives.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with sales, product development, and customer service teams to ensure consistent messaging and market alignment.
- Share insights, campaign performance, and customer feedback with leadership and stakeholders.
Organization
The position reports directly to the VP of Sales & Marketing – Industrial and works in close, day-to-day collaboration with key commercial teams across the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- Minimum 5–7 years of professional experience in a marketing role, preferably within the footwear, apparel, or components industry.
- Excellent command of English (spoken and written); multilingual abilities a plus.
- Strong understanding of B2B2C marketing dynamics.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with marketing automation, CRM, and data analysis tools.
- Solid grasp of SEO/SEM and web analytics.
- Creative thinker with strong visual and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities with attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
- Willingness to travel, domestically and internationally, as required.
