Able to work independently and as part of a team. Use Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel to create program related documentation and update templates to ensure ease of use and functional capability in support of respective project teams. Ensure all materials are compliant with stated policies and practices employed by the customer organization. Assist in preparing and maintaining documentation, user guides and manuals, and technical publications. Work with the program office and subject matter experts to gather technical information required in the preparation of written text. Demonstrated knowledge and experience providing pre- and post-meeting support, including meeting minutes, decisions made, documenting and tracking of action items, minutes distribution. Research highly technical subject matter, organize information from multiple sources and prepare incident reports, responses, and briefings comprehensible to a wide audience of readers. Experience providing timeline estimates for document review and revision completion and maintaining adherence to project schedules and target dates. Coordinate the completion of document reviews and revisions with other Technical Editors and FAA personnel. Qualifications

A minimum of 3 years' experience up to 8 years' experience as a Technical Writer. Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Education, History or Political Science. Master's Degree may be substituted for 2 years of relevant experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Strongly preferred:

Graphic design Aviation technical writing experience Government contracting
