Position Summary We’re seeking a high-energy, results-driven
Marketing Specialist
who excels in designing and delivering impactful marketing content to support the company’s aggressive growth goals. This role blends creativity with analytical thinking to develop marketing collateral, execute campaigns, and align initiatives with business objectives.
As part of a growing marketing team, this newly created position will manage day-to-day marketing and design activities for three of our Repair Services Brands—Transco, UTLX Field Services, and Procor Field Services. Responsibilities include graphic design, copywriting, website content management, social media, and paid advertising campaigns aimed at market penetration and brand awareness. The role also supports the sales team by creating customer-focused marketing materials.
This is an individual contributor role reporting to the Director of Tactical Marketing, with peers supporting other Marmon Rail groups. The position is remote, with regular engagement via Teams video calls. While not required, preference will be given to candidates based in Chicago, Atlanta, or Houston. Occasional travel may be needed for team meetings and operational training.
Responsibilities
Partner with the Marketing Director to execute B2B marketing campaigns and design projects to support objectives in support of lead generation, customer acquisition and revenue growth
Lead marketing efforts for the Repair Services group, managing content, collateral, and campaigns across digital and print channels
Design and maintain creative assets—including websites, emails, ads, social media, branding, print materials, and presentations—aligned with brand guidelines
Strengthen brand positioning and messaging across all marketing channels to ensure brand consistency while enhancing visibility and reputation
Develop and execute B2B marketing campaigns using paid ads, email, webinars, social media, SEO, and website content to boost brand awareness and generate leads
Translate technical details into compelling marketing content that informs and supports prospects, customers, and sales teams
Track and analyze website and campaign metrics to refine strategies and improve ROI
Maintain a centralized repository of creative assets with version control for easy access
Manage and execute a social media calendar focused on driving organic growth for YouTube and LinkedIn.
Engage in open and collaborative communication with our internal teams
Contribute towards the development of a sustainable lead generation system
Education / Experience / Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Digital Arts, Business or related field.
7+ years’ experience in marketing or graphic design. Preference given to prior marketing experience with an industrial services or manufacturing company.
Proficiency with graphic design and working in programs in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) would be required
Open and professional communication style combined with strong interpersonal skills
Organized and able to multitask effectively by prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively
Comfortable working to deadlines
Superb graphic design skills adaptable to various forms of content, including articles, web pages, social media posts and advertising copy
Superior attention to detail and strong understanding of design principles
Willing to enhance technical knowledge of our industry through ground level observation of operations
Enjoy working in a collaborative team environment
Able to work independently with minimal supervision and with a high degree of self-motivation
Ability to speak effectively and comfortable making presentations before groups of internal and external stakeholders at different levels of operational management
Ability to interpret, summarize and communicate data analytics from multiple platforms including Google Analytics, Social Media Platforms and PPC campaigns.
Proficiency with Outlook, Excel and Word. Expert at PowerPoint and Adobe InDesign.
Previous experience managing social media platforms in B2B including LinkedIn and YouTube would be an asset, but not required
Basic understanding of website Content Management Systems (CMS) would be an asset, but not required
Prior experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM would be an asset, but not required
Prior experience with email service providers (ESP) would be an asset but not required.
Familiarity with Search Engine Optimization concepts, tools, and measurement would be an asset, but not required.
Familiarity with website analytics tools like GA4 would be an asset but not required
Experience with paid advertising like Google Ads, Microsoft Ads and LinkedIn Ads would be an asset but not required
Pay Range 82,800.00 - 101,200.00
