Senior Marketing Manager - Data Centers (Industry Lead) . This role is part of the high growth, fast-paced Global High Tech business unit and focuses on the Global Data Centers segment. Marketing at Ecolab drives growth and provides developmental career opportunities, with the aim of helping customers meet their goals, differentiating Ecolab from competitors and contributing to aggressive growth targets. Responsibilities
Lead the team and business to demonstrate and communicate the financial value of products and programs to customers. Own and manage customer and product portfolio optimization. Enhance Ecolab value offering through ongoing customer communications, including e communications, Ecolab web presence, and other innovative marketing programs. Foster a dynamic, high performing team environment that delivers high levels of service and value creation to internal and external customers. Establish mid and long term strategic plans and supporting programs linked to broader corporation and segment strategies to accelerate growth and market share. Provide leadership in the development of new service offerings beyond existing programs for current or future markets of the business unit. Manage employees, including setting objectives and development plans, salary planning, performance appraisals, hiring, promotions and coaching to achieve operating objectives. Partner with regional business unit leaders to set and achieve global business goals. Review and present competitive analyses and data to counter competing programs and develop actionable plans. Ensure the sales force is provided with leadership and effective marketing support, including sales tools, training, program tracking and problem solving capabilities. Provide updates to senior leadership on key strategic initiatives and new business opportunities, informing decision-making and resource allocation. Develop and deliver executive summaries, presentations and materials to sell Global Data Center solutions. Provide leadership and development to teams tasked with innovating and activating new product, service, information, and digital offerings. Participate in ongoing customer interactions that contribute to business insights and results and train the team on Voice of the Customer techniques. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of professional experience or MBA in Marketing with 5 years of experience 5 years of experience in Data Centers or adjacent industries Immigration sponsorship not available for this role Preferred Qualifications
Experience in developing and launching new products or services Experience in developing marketing strategy Experience in product or customer portfolio management Business to business marketing experience Ability to relate to influential people and complex organizational structures with strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization Demonstrated initiative and leadership skills including setting vision and strategy, planning, critical thinking, cross-functional orchestration, and a proven track record of results Experience in the Data Centers segment Experience managing teams of marketers Compensation and Benefits
The base salary range for this position is $130,100.00 - $195,100.00. This position is eligible for annual bonus pay based on performance, per plan terms. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
