TRG Manufacturing Search Division is seeking a
Senior Mold Designer
(or
Senior Mold Design Engineer ) to join one of the most advanced precision mold-building operations in the U.S. This clean, climate-controlled shop is backed by a global company investing heavily in its U.S. operations. You’ll design complex molds from the ground up—high cavitation, stack, hot runner, multi-cavity—while working side by side with top toolmakers and engineers.
The team supports both internal production and external clients across several industries, giving you a mix of challenging projects and opportunities to grow professionally. You’ll use modern CAD tools (NX, SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and collaborate daily with professionals who value precision, quality, and innovation.

Responsibilities
Lead the design of complex injection molds from concept to production, including high cavitation, stack, hot runner, and multi-cavity configurations.
Collaborate with internal production teams, toolmakers, and engineers to ensure design for manufacturability and on-time project delivery.
Develop 3D models and detailed drawings using CAD tools (NX, SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
Document mold designs and specifications, and participate in design reviews.
Apply a strong understanding of complex tooling and manufacturing processes to design decisions.
Qualifications
7+ years of injection mold design experience.
Strong understanding of complex tooling and manufacturing processes.
Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Tool Design, or related field preferred.
Experience with simulation/analysis tools (e.g., Moldflow) a plus.
