Hightouch
Engineering Manager, Customer Studio
Hightouch, San Francisco, California, United States, 94199
Overview
We are looking for an
engineering leader
to work on
Customer Studio , Hightouch’s second major product that provides a
no-code
suite of features enabling anyone—regardless of SQL experience—to activate data directly from their warehouse. The product has grown quickly, now accounting for roughly half of our revenue, and we are continuing to invest aggressively in this area, with opportunities for significant impact.
Responsibilities
Product Development: Lead the team in roadmapping and delivering significant features and products to drive the business forward. Uphold a high technical bar while making pragmatic tradeoffs.
Pace: Improve the pace of execution through leadership and technical excellence.
Recruiting: Grow the team, define evaluation processes, and ensure we hire high-impact team members.
Reliability: Elevate the team's reliability to reduce incidents, catch issues before customers are affected, and maintain strong incident management hygiene.
People: Foster growth and engagement of team members.
Focus areas
Data Warehouse Performance: Push the limits of data warehouse performance, exploring general optimizations as well as warehouse-specific improvements.
Analytics and Experimentation: Help customers build segments and decide what data to sync, and enable experimentation for downstream tools while tracking audience performance.
Real-time Audience Syncing: Deliver faster syncing as warehouses adopt real-time capabilities, exploring real-time audience computation and syncing (e.g., CDC).
Generative AI: Improve user workflows and experiences through AI-enabled features.
What We Offer This is a senior role focused on impact and potential for growth. Salary range is $220,000–$300,000 USD per year, location-independent under our remote-first policy. We offer meaningful equity compensation (ISO options) with early exercise and a 10-year post-termination exercise window.
We’re based in San Francisco but have team members worldwide. Our Series C put us at a $1.2B valuation, and we’re backed by investors including Sapphire Ventures, Amplify Partners, ICONIQ Growth, Bain Capital Ventures, Y Combinator, and Afore Capital.
Details
Seniority level: Mid-Senior level
Employment type: Full-time
Job function: Engineering and Information Technology
Industries: Software Development
Location: San Francisco, CA (remote-first)
