Overview

Ford Motor Company's Integrated Services unit is developing connected experiences by integrating hardware, software and services across Ford Blue, Model e and Ford Pro. In this role, Sr. Analyst, Product Marketing - Mobile App, you will help shape the success of our mobile app and vehicle software updates within the connected car ecosystem. Reporting to the Senior Manager, this position requires a proven analytical leader who can leverage data to uncover insights that drive product visibility, user engagement, and strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate has product marketing experience in mobile apps or complex software-driven products and excels in cross-functional collaboration in a fast-evolving environment. This is a hybrid position based in Dearborn, MI or Palo Alto, CA, requiring onsite four days per week; remote work is not available.

Responsibilities

Product Positioning & Narrative Development: Strategically define, craft, and ensure consistent messaging for compelling product positioning and narratives across all channels to drive user understanding and adoption.

Cross-Functional Strategy & Alignment: Drive strategic alignment and foster seamless execution by partnering with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales, ensuring product marketing initiatives integrate with roadmaps and campaigns for shared objectives.

Performance Analytics & Strategic Insights: Lead the analysis of product marketing metrics using analytics tools (e.g., Amplitude, Google Analytics), translating data into actionable insights and data-driven recommendations to optimize digital product marketing strategies.

Market & Competitive Intelligence: Conduct market and competitive intelligence to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning for informed product marketing strategies.

User Engagement & Lifecycle Strategy: Develop and implement data-driven strategies to enhance user engagement, retention, and loyalty throughout the mobile app lifecycle, leveraging personalization and in-app experiences to drive feature adoption.

Internal & Partner Enablement: Create enablement materials and training for stakeholders (e.g., Customer Service, Dealership Support) to empower them to support and advocate for our products.

Reporting & Storytelling: Prepare and present strategic performance reports to leadership, communicating key metrics, trends, and actionable recommendations to influence product and marketing decisions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.

3-5+ years of progressive product marketing experience, with a strong focus on data analysis for mobile applications or complex software-driven products.

Proven proficiency with advanced analytics tools (e.g., Amplitude, Google Analytics).

Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights and compelling narratives for diverse audiences, including senior leadership.

This is a hybrid position requiring onsite four days a week in the Dearborn, MI or Palo Alto, CA office. This is not a remote position.

Nice to have

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Data Analytics, or related field.

Master's degree (MBA or related field).

Experience working in the automotive or mobility industry.

Familiarity with marketing automation platforms and content marketing strategies.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a strong emphasis on presentation abilities.

Understanding of customer journey mapping and UX/UI principles.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Employment terms and compliance

This position has a salary grade range of 7-8.
