The person in this role is responsible for creating Aerogen brand awareness strategy and generating leads, through Marketing Communications, that lead to broad adoption and utilization of Aerogen technology in North America (NA). This individual will report to the Director of Downstream Marketing for North America. They will work in strong partnership with NA leadership, marketing, sales, corporate accounts, clinical education, medical affairs, global cross-functional partners and third-party vendors. What are the key responsibilities?

NA MARCOMM Strategy: Create an overall NA MARCOMM strategy within the Challenger framework translating marketing goals into defined marketing communications strategies to encourage better utilization of Aerogen within North America. Evaluate campaigns (Omni, ABM, etc.) and tactics in-market for effectiveness and shift resources to maximize ROI. Proactively identify and improve data collection strategies to measure performance of marketing activities. Downstream Marketing Support: Collaborate with Marketing, Sales and Clinical Education to create omni-channel marketing campaigns and assets for assigned portfolios and initiatives to include brochures, paid media campaigns, social media & templates, customer presentations, email campaigns & templates. Global & NA Leadership Collaboration: Partner closely with Global Corporate Communications Manager to ensure we are aligned to brand standards and drive clear communication for North American. Support initiatives driven by North America (NA) leadership that extend beyond portfolio-specific work and include executive messaging and broader brand initiatives. Content Calendar: Develop and implement a content calendar to continuously feed information to customers and our partners. Content includes articles, webinars, emails, videos, white papers, infographics, and others, and is rolled out via website, social medial, ongoing email campaigns, etc. Build this tool into the customer communication plan and interact with Global Corporate Communications Manager, to ensure it is in line for global brand guidelines and tone of voice for Aerogen Communications Support: Develop/support internal & external communications (PR) initiatives while maintaining corporate communications standards and programs IAW Global. MARCOM Ownership: Lead the NA engagement with all our MARCOMM related vendors (e.g. print, website, paid media and various agencies). Ensure their facilitation to the approval of marketing claims, tools and collateral etc by owning the NA MARCOMM Approval Process. This will require ownership of omni-channel content (email, video, social, etc.) and ensuring alignment to both global brand standards and regional strategic goals. Project Management: Run the day-to-day execution of MARCOMM initiatives supporting the downstream marketing team, improving North American internal processes, and developing solutions to support marketing objectives. Campaign Management: Evaluate campaigns (Omni, ABM, etc.) and tactics in-market for effectiveness and shift resources to maximize ROI. Proactively identify and improve data collection strategies to measure performance of marketing activities. Digital Strategy: In collaboration and alignment with the Global Corporate Communications Manager, develop and lead the North American digital strategy and execution across various digital channels including website, email and social media. Website: Manage the content on the North America website and make ongoing improvements and updates within a content management system, track leads, website traffic and optimize for conversion. Explore ways to improve effectiveness of our website to better drive awareness and adoption of Aerogen technology. Tradeshows & Customer Facing Events: Work with Marketing & Sales to find and coordinate participation in events, develop pre-show campaigns, atshow activation strategy (e.g. , develop event displays, promotions, etc.) and post-event lead nurturing through a MARCOMM strategy and lead generation activities. Performs other duties as requested. What education and experience are required?

Previous work experience in a similar role in MedTech/Medical Device. Minimum of 10+ years of relevant marketing communications experience, with at least 3+ years in a strategic capacity What key skills will make you great at the role?

Demonstrated leadership in leading and working on cross-functional teams at both a both tactical execution and strategic planning level. Must be energetic, self-motivated, detail-oriented, creative, strategic and highly accountable. Must have excellent communication – written and oral, and strong analytical skills. Copy writing & Graphic Design skills and experience preferred. Must have experience with video planning, scripting, production coordination, and vendor management. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, prioritize assignments and multi-task. Proven experience in creating a strategic work plan and executing programs to achieve specific goals. Experienced in working cross-functionally with people with diverse backgrounds within a global manufacturing organization, including exposure to R&D/Engineering, Sales/Marketing, Medical Affairs, Clinical Education and Operations/Manufacturing. Must have excellent computer skills with an emphasis on creating effective presentations; Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Analytics required. Experience with Salesforce preferred and Adobe Creative Suite is a plus. Hands-on experience with project management and budgeting. Experience managing work through 3rd Party Vendors and Marketing/Advertising Agencies strongly preferred. Experience in respiratory therapeutic area and the acute care hospital setting preferred.
