Overview Insight Global is hiring for a Qualitative User Researcher for a large telecommunications client based in Stamford, CT. This role focuses on understanding the behaviors, needs, and motivations of users through qualitative research methods. The researcher will identify customer issues and map the customer journey, and on a daily basis gather qualitative data from interviews, focus groups, and observations to identify patterns and insights.

This is a contract-to-hire position with a pay rate of $60-$66/hour.

Responsibilities

Understand user behaviors, needs, and motivations through qualitative research methods.

Identify customer issues and map the customer journey; visualize user experiences over time to highlight pain points and opportunities for improvement.

Gather qualitative data from interviews, focus groups, and observations to identify patterns and insights.

Have detailed conversations with users to explore their experiences, thoughts, and feelings.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience as a qualitative user researcher.

Experience with qualitative data analysis software: NVivo or ATLAS.ti for coding and analyzing qualitative data.

Experience conducting interviews and surveys, including gathering qualitative and quantitative data by talking directly to users or distributing surveys.

Proficient in developing user research plans, synthesizing findings, and usability testing. Background in UX/UI.

E-commerce background.

HTML, CSS, and CAD experience.

Telecommunications background.
