Our global client is seeking a Sr. Design Engineer for its plant near Buffalo NY. his role is responsible for creating, modifying, and maintaining engineering designs and documentation to meet product requirements and justify design changes. Primary responsibilities also include: Create, modify, and maintain 3D CAD models and engineering drawings following industry standards (ASME/ANSI).

Define key design parameters and perform tolerance stack-up analyses to ensure proper fit, function, and manufacturability.

Collaborate with engineers and technicians to gather input and guide prototype development.

Coordinate drawing package releases, ensure accuracy of part numbers/lists, and perform weight/center of gravity calculations.

Work independently with minimal supervision while also contributing to team-based design and problem-solving activities.

Position reports to Engineering Product Line Manager. Ideal candidates for Sr. Designer Engineer will possess the following: BS, Engineering

5+ years experience in a manufacturing environment

Proficient with CAD—especially Solidworks

Salary up to $120k/yr. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401k, FSA, etc. Pay Details:
