The Marketing Specialist plays a vital support role on the Marketing team, contributing to the successful execution of product launches, marketing campaigns, and sales enablement initiatives for ASSA ABLOY’s commercial hardware brands,

SARGENT

and

Corbin Russwin .

This is a hands-on position designed for an individual who is highly organized, collaborative, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a dynamic environment. The Marketing Specialist will assist with a range of marketing responsibilities including content creation, digital and social updates, project coordination, documentation updates, vendor communication, and various ad hoc assignments to meet team objectives.

This role will collaborate with our team and colleagues and sit 5 days/week onsite in our New Haven, CT, office.

Responsibilities

Manage and send all outbound email communications, including product launches, promotions, newsletters, internal communications, and campaign-based messaging

Use Salesforce Marketing Cloud (or similar platform) to build, segment, schedule, and analyze email sends; monitor performance metrics such as open rates, click-throughs, and engagement

Support product launches by developing marketing collateral such as brochures, presentations, product photography, and sales communication materials

Draft and edit a variety of content including emails, blog posts, internal decks, and customer-facing messaging

Assist with website content management and basic updates using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) platform

Support planning and scheduling of social media content across relevant channels

Monitor and report on digital performance using tools such as Google Analytics, SEM Rush, Hotjar and Salesforce

Coordinate with vendors including print and digital designers, photographers, videographers, and freelancer writers to produce marketing materials

Maintain and organize content within the digital asset management (DAM) system, ensuring accurate and timely updates

Assist with planning and execution of events, tradeshows, showroom displays, and sample shipments

Respond to various ad hoc requests and support special projects as assigned by the Marketing Manager

Ensure brand consistency and messaging alignment across all touchpoints

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred

2–4 years of experience in a marketing or coordination role, ideally in a B2B or product marketing environment

Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Experience working with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or a comparable email marketing platform strongly preferred

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) strongly preferred

Familiarity with Google Analytics, CMS tools, and social media platforms is a plus

Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and SEO/SEM best practices is a plus

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Occasional travel may be required (up to 10%)
