This role is essential to developing the strategy to meet our revenue and business goals. We are seeking a Senior Product Marketing Manager focused on technical product marketing for compete. The ideal candidate enjoys digging into products, understanding technical details and how they work, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams. As the Sr Product Marketing Manager, Compete (AI Business Solutions), you will be a strategic leader responsible for influencing across disciplines, co-leading product research, and deeply understand multiple products. Your role will be crucial to communicating industry trends for various audiences, including leadership, and ability to digest a variety of inputs to create concise, actionable snapshot summaries. This role represents a highly visible opportunity to influence and contribute to the Copilot business at a strategic level. You will partner with Product Managers, Research, Business Planning and other key teams. This role will focus on leading marketing efforts to inform product strategy through deep competitor research, customer insights, product decisions, shaping the landscape of how to differentiate and win over competitors. Product & Competitive Intelligence: Conduct deep technical and business analysis of Microsoft and competitor AI offerings across productivity and business process domains. Translate insights into differentiated messaging and battlecards for field and partner enablement. Partner with compete and engineering teams to anticipate market shifts and neutralize competitive threats. Technical Storytelling & Content Development: Develop high-impact content including whitepapers, battlecards and internal messaging frameworks. Gather feedback to refine messaging and identify new opportunities for differentiation. Drive alignment across marketing, engineering, and field teams as well as product/engineering stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging. Go-to-Market Execution: Lead product launches and solution play execution for AI Business Solutions, including Copilot and Agents. Support field readiness through training, enablement sessions, and scalable content. Collaborate with field, serve as a trusted advisor to sellers and customer-facing teams. Participate in executive briefings, customer engagements, and analyst interactions. Qualifications
Required/minimum qualifications: Master’s Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 3+ years experience in business OR Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 5+ years experience in business OR equivalent experience. 5+ years experience in product marketing, technical marketing, or product management. 1+ years experience with AI systems, prompt engineering, and secure AI development practices. Solid analytical skills and ability to synthesize complex technical concepts into clear business value. Communication and storytelling abilities. Preferred Qualifications
Deep familiarity with Microsoft 365, Microsoft 365 Copilot, and/or Copilot Studio. Background in competitive intelligence or technical sales enablement. Experience in product marketing or technical marketing, ideally in security, AI, or enterprise SaaS. Significant understanding of Microsoft security technologies (Purview, Defender, Entra) and Power Platform ecosystem. Ability to translate complex technical concepts into compelling customer narratives. Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, product, and field teams. Effective communication, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills. Compensation: Product Marketing IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,400 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for those locations is USD $137,600 - $222,600 per year.
