Senior UI/UX Designer

Compensation:
Senior UI/UX Designer $115,000-135,000, plus bonus and benefits
Position Summary : We are seeking a highly skilled Senior UX/UI Designer to lead design efforts for our complex product areas. The ideal candidate will have 4–7 years of professional experience in UX/UI, product design, or human-centered design. In this pivotal role, you will drive the user experience strategy and execution from discovery to delivery, balancing long-term product vision with immediate user needs. You will operate with high autonomy, making significant design decisions and aligning efforts across disciplines with minimal oversight.
Responsibilities
Lead UX/UI design across projects, from initial research to high-fidelity execution
Define user journeys, information architecture, and interaction flows for complex systems
Conduct or oversee user research, usability testing, and design validation
Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and other Designers to align on product strategy and roadmap
Advocate for user needs while balancing business and technical constraints
Mentor junior designers and contribute to the team's knowledge-sharing and culture
Drive the adoption and evolution of design systems, patterns, and standards
Communicate design rationale effectively to stakeholders and leadership
Preferred Qualifications
Experience: 4–7 years of professional experience in UX/UI, product design, or human-centered design
Expertise in designing both mobile apps and responsive web applications
Proven ability to lead design efforts for complex product areas from discovery to delivery
Experience designing to boost engagement metrics, ideally for health tech products
Demonstrated ability to drive user experience strategy and execution, balancing business goals with user needs
Experience owning and contributing to ADA complaint design systems
Expertise in conducting or overseeing user research, usability testing, and design validation
Expert-level proficiency with design tools, specifically Figma, and experience with prototyping tools and collaboration platforms
A proactive, creative, and rigorous approach to solving ambiguous problems
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams (Product Managers, Engineers, etc.)
Ability to effectively communicate design rationale to stakeholders and leadership
