Educational Federal Credit Union The Sr. Social Media Producer is responsible for creating engaging social media and digital marketing content that showcases our Credit Union’s commitment to education and community involvement, and for driving followers on digital platforms. This role interfaces regularly with the SVP of Marketing and Strategic Partnerships, Director of Marketing and Communications, and Senior Manager of Advertising and Communications to develop brand and marketing strategies that expand EdFed’s awareness on digital platforms. Responsibilities

Proactively sources new digital content to publish on EdFed’s social media platforms that align with our Credit Union’s goals and objectives. Drives strategic direction for streaming content and commercials; collaborates with senior leaders on scripting, storyboarding, and production. Develops contests and promotions to increase followers on social media and provides leadership with comprehensive reporting on analytics and trends. Publishes three to five new feature stories per week, with ongoing promotional content, financial tips, and announcements. Monitors social media messages, postings, and user reviews across platforms and escalates feedback as directed. Directs videography and photography of organizational events, including scholarship ceremonies, Annual Meetings, branch openings, and milestones. Serves as the Credit Union’s social media ambassador at events, including evening and weekend assignments. Reviews community events calendars to identify opportunities for engagement via social media content. Manages and schedules content using social media management tools (e.g., Social Pilot). Supervises student interns and provides direction to third-party vendors on creative direction for photography and video production. Collaborates with the Senior Manager of Advertising and Communications and IT leadership to assess technology needs and ensure resources are up to date. Prepares quarterly social media optimization reports for senior management outlining trends and opportunities. Uses Monday.com to post, route, and update departmental workflow. Attends social media conferences and workshops to refine strategy. Researches and analyzes the latest social media trends, best practices, and platform changes to optimize engagement. Develops and maintains relationships with educational leaders, community partners, and influencers. Performs other duties as assigned by management. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination 3–5 years of film/video production and social media marketing Skills

Must be a team player with the ability to interact with all levels of staff within the Credit Union. Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills. Experience with social media management tools, such as Social Pilot. Proficiency in Canva or other graphic design tools. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop. Advanced technical skills in Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Strong creative, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines. Strong organizational skills. Professional, competent, and enthusiastic behavior when representing the Credit Union. Mandatory BSA training completion annually. Compliance
