Overview
We are hiring for a
Manager/Senior Manager, Marketing Strategy (Bangkok Based, relocation provided)
role based in Bangkok with relocation support. Agoda is an online travel booking platform for accommodations, flights, and more. We build and deploy cutting-edge technology that connects travelers with a global network of hotels and holiday properties worldwide, plus flights, activities, and more. Based in Asia and part of Booking Holdings, Agoda employs 7,100+ people representing 95+ nationalities across 27 markets, fostering a work environment rich in diversity, creativity, and collaboration. Summary: In the online travel industry, success comes from combining a programmatic approach to optimize volumes and margins in the short term with a strategic view of how markets react to pricing, products, and competitors. We seek a senior leader to craft Agoda’s global marketing strategy and execute it using a wide range of tactics, including pricing, display, and machine-learning driven initiatives. You will work with Agoda’s senior management, marketing and product teams, and lead a team of pricing campaign managers and analysts. Responsibilities
Support the development and execution of global marketing strategies in alignment with Agoda’s business goals Collaborate with Product and Market Development teams to implement key initiatives and drive improvements across all channels Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and local market intelligence to inform business decisions Design and launch initiatives and campaigns that balance short-term objectives with long-term strategic goals Monitor and report on the effectiveness of business initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement Lead, mentor, and develop a team of analysts and managers; participate in hiring and onboarding new team members Manage budgets related to team initiatives and ensure efficient allocation of resources Qualifications
Strong analytical skills and a passion for working with data to drive business decisions Advanced proficiency in SQL Experience in pricing, revenue management, or a related analytical field; experience in the online travel or e-commerce industry is a plus Proven ability to collaborate effectively across teams and cultures People management experience, including hiring, coaching, and developing team members Experience managing budgets and delivering results against financial targets A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with a strong sense of ownership and a get-things-done attitude Exposure to product development, technology, or working with IT teams is an advantage Benefits
