Marketing Specialist II (Hybrid)

Our mission is to promote the art and science of medicine and the betterment of public health. This role is based in Chicago, IL (Hybrid), requiring 3 days per week in the office.
Responsibilities
Coordinate marketing tactics across digital, print, and video channels to support member engagement with key member programs and segment campaigns
Provide support for events, workshops, and conferences through scheduling, logistics, and material preparation
Help maintain project records and timelines, including coordination with vendors and internal teams, as well as generate reports
Coordinate contract and order tracking for promotional items and giveaways
Support communication across departments and with external partners to ensure alignment on execution of marketing tactics
Help track usage of marketing assets and provide input for future updates
Coordinate minor website and material updates as assigned
Collaborate with internal and external designers and copywriters to develop creative assets
Provide on-site assistance at meetings and events as needed
Coordinate logistical elements of programs and events, including scheduling, materials and vendor communication
Support preparation and inventory of promotional items and branded materials
Assist with documentation and basic budget tracking related to events
Monitor performance of marketing activities and summarize key insights
Gather customer feedback and market information to support team planning
Monitor marketing industry trends and share highlights with the engagement team during regular meetings
Qualifications / Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in marketing or communications preferred
Minimum of 3+ years of experience in event marketing, content marketing, communications, or related fields highly preferred, or equivalent experience required; minimum of 2 years of health care-focused marketing experience preferred
Experience assisting with planning for and executing on project/marketing plans required; experience with Asana preferred
Strong familiarity with Microsoft Excel, PowerBI and Cvent preferred
Some travel required
Demonstrated ability to write promotional content and create marketing assets for a variety of audience types
Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills
Ability to work on multiple assignments simultaneously and manage competing projects effectively
Ability to perform in a high-visibility team environment as well as be a strong individual contributor
Strong problem-solving skills and a clear commitment to teamwork
Demonstrated sense of initiative and professionalism

The salary range for this role is $72,706-$96,390. The actual pay within this range will be determined by factors including location, qualifications, skills, and experience. Employees may be eligible to participate in an incentive plan.
