Senior Designer role at PepsiCo. Responsibilities

As part of the PepsiCo Foods Design team, you will partner with functional design experts and the business to develop brand design strategies across capabilities including product architecture, innovation pipelines, visual identity systems, design guidelines, packaging design, and structural design. The Senior Brand Designer will engage with cross-functional teams to drive brand and graphic design projects from ideation and strategy to execution. The main objective is to guide the Pepsi brand design, craft the brand design strategy, and execute major design projects across the portfolio. Design Project Management

Partner across disciplines within PepsiCo and external suppliers to develop and deliver design assets with quality, value, and on-time delivery. Inform and align stakeholders throughout the creative process; regularly review project status with leadership to verify that expectations are met.

Brand Design Development

Support the visual identity for the Pepsi portfolio, collaborating with the North America Pepsi Design Director and other design leaders across brand, product, packaging, equipment, marketing, and advertising.

Generate creative design proposals (visions, scenarios, concepts) to visualize output and share with internal and external team members. Participate in research activities and translate customer needs into actionable design strategy; drive final design recommendations, decisions, and design approvals to enable artwork execution/production. External Design Network

Support PepsiCo Design & Innovation in building and cultivating a robust external design network.

Compensation and Benefits

The expected compensation range for this position is between $76,400 - $127,850. Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process. Bonus based on performance; target payout is 8% of annual salary. Paid time off subject to eligibility, including parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement. Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Design with 4+ years’ experience as a multidisciplinary designer from concept to completion, or equivalent. Full-time agency-side and/or client-side experience. Advanced experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Firefly. Willingness to travel 15% of the time. Preferred qualifications:

Strong typography, conceptual design, and design strategy experience. 360 brand design experience (print, packaging, digital, environmental, experiential). Ability to generate high-quality images, designs, animations, and motion graphics using AI-powered tools integrated into the workflow. Excellent design taste and awareness of current trends. Ability to work in an agile, startup-like environment with comfort in risk and ambiguity. Strong stakeholder relationship management; ability to influence across levels, regions, and functions. Effective verbal and written communication with internal and external partners. Collaborative team player who communicates progress to avoid surprises. Strong time and project management to meet deadlines.
