As we grow our New Verticals team, we’re looking for a Senior Product Designer to lead our Shopper Experience (How Dashers use our app to shop at grocery and retail stores). Dashers are at the heart of our logistics business, and our design team works hard to simplify millions of drivers’ end-to-end experience, to help them achieve their financial goals through flexibility and stability. We’re building the world's most efficient and reliable same-day logistics platform to fulfill our vision of empowering all local businesses. We’ve expanded to support groceries, convenience, pets and other exciting markets, and the Dasher app and underlying logistics platform need to flex to accommodate all their nuances at scale. This brings many compelling and diverse design challenges, with the potential to improve each side of our marketplace - from Dashers, to Consumers, to Merchants. This is a role to help lead the future of shopping at DoorDash. This role will report into the Head of New Verticals, Shopper Experience Design. The role can be based in San Francisco, Los Angeles, or New York. This is a hybrid role, with 1-2 days a week in-office and some time remote. Responsibilities
Create step-change improvements by envisioning the long-term Dasher experience and realizing them through execution on new products and services for dashers Partner with teams in PM, Engineering, Research and Operations to influence our product and design strategy by building a great user experience for our complex three-sided marketplace Push the creative boundaries of our dasher experiences, that sets a new baseline for visual craft and impact the product will have in the industry Qualifications
You are a Product Designer with 5+ years of work experience You are all about 0 to 1, and enjoy driving clarity in ambiguous spaces You think of yourself as a craftsperson, have a passion for visual design, and usually find yourself sweating over the details Notice to Applicants for NYC or Remote Jobs

The successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee’s work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.
