Overview
Content Director role at Transformation Church. Lead end-to-end video content creation, from ideation to post-production and export. Ensure that all captured content is on-brand, intentional, excellent in execution, and aligned with Transformation Church’s vision to Represent. Plan, record, edit, and export content for all platforms, and strategically leverage it for long-term impact.
Responsibilities
Lead a team of video editors, videographers, motion graphic designers, and content producers.
Oversee timelines and workflows for all content projects in any stage of the production cycle.
Manage a master content calendar; tracking what has been recorded and what’s next.
Collaborate with team members on Programming, Creative, Discipleship, and Production to translate written courses into engaging long-term evergreen content.
Identify moments that happen in a service experience that can be maximized for long-term value and build strategies for repurposing and reformatting content for evergreen use.
Support the development of content strategy per platform (YouTube, IG, PandoApp, TikTok, Podcast, TC app, etc.) in collaboration with Creative, Marketing & Data Platform Strategists.
Lead the ideation and execution of location scouting, studio set design, lighting, and shot composition; ensure every piece of content is visually compelling, culturally relevant, and aligned with TC’s brand standard of excellence.
Schedule and direct content shoots, rehearsals, and creative brainstorming sessions.
Be on-site for major content recordings and events to ensure production excellence and brand alignment.
Review, conduct quality control checks, provide feedback, and approve final video content before publishing or distribution.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends in church media, film, and storytelling.
All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
REQUIRED: Minimum four years of content production, video content strategy, or creative leadership experience
High proficiency in video workflows, editing tools, and motion graphics
Must have the ability to storyboard projects
Experience in multi-platform publishing and strategic content distribution
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Analytical mind and good math skills
Ability to develop and manage teams
Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, and good time management skills
Self-starter and ability to work under pressure, including troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to meet deadlines and goals while managing multiple tasks
Proficient with Monday Project Management System, DaVinci Editing
Proficient with Apple, Microsoft, and Google products and the ability to learn TC-used databases and technologies
