The Assistant Director of Marketing, Lifestyle Games will be responsible for building and leading the execution of strategic marketing plans for our Trading Card, Miniatures, and RPG lines, as well as supporting accessories—with a heavy emphasis on supporting and growing the Star Wars: Unlimited line. They hold responsibility for the organization’s marketing planning and oversee development and delivery of a fully integrated marketing strategy for the US Distribution Unit with support from the Director and VP of Marketing. They will interface with our internal studio and global partners to align on integrated retailer and consumer marketing actions and their required assets. They will weigh in on organized play efforts and in-store activations to build community around the titles in these important business lines. This role will regularly interface with key executives within the US Distribution Unit, across studio leadership and marketing teams, as well as global stakeholders. As such, this role requires a compelling and effective combination of strong independent business-critical efficiency, and an analytical mindset, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. What will your role involve

Provide US Distribution Unit (DU) input into product line up, including new and existing products and the profitability of these items Present DU needs to relevant studios and contribute to planning of product mix and pricing Build brand vision, channel and marketing strategy across these product lines for the DU and make sure this is present in all our go to market plans for these product lines Fully understand product lines, be the Subject Matter Expert for the DU Create and manage lifestyle significant marketing budget of over on a regular basis Connect with stakeholders on a regular basis, including Studio leadership and Global marketing functions to build and align on go to market plans, offering expert advice to develop innovative advertising, public relations, social media and events Create, plan and direct marketing activities for key products. Develop the marketing strategy for new and existing lines and oversee the implementation of the marketing and communication strategies - including campaigns, events, digital marketing, new product introductions, and PR Interface with the Sales Director to ensure that Marketing and Sales plans are aligned Responsible for timely roll-out of go to market plans per schedule. Ensure content is of the highest quality, and is on strategy, on schedule, and on budget Closely track sales and adjust plans as needed Provide an ongoing report on effectiveness of all marketing efforts related to product line up Ensure Organized Play programs from the Studio support the game lines so that they can retain current players as well as bring in new players. Plan for retail-operated OP programs that will further expand engagement with these brands Maintain a collaborative working relationship with designated Studio leadership and Global counterparts, including ongoing meetings and communication, sharing plans, asset gathering, and other activities that promote successful marketing of lifestyle products Minimum Qualifications

Exceptional skills planning, developing and executing marketing materials Must enjoy a fast-paced environment with multiple projects, tight deadlines and frequent high-peak times Well organized, strategic thinker who is able to see the big picture Ability to prioritize projects as well as delegate, assign, and manage tasks to team members Must be trustworthy with highly confidential materials Confident, driven and dynamic leader Able to work cooperatively and effectively with different personality types as well as other departments, vendors and clients Domestic and international travel required – up to 10% of time Education/Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; equivalent experience in some cases can be acceptable 7-10 years of professional marketing experience Strong and effective time management skills Demonstrated experience of successful launches in the Hobby Game market, with at least one Trading Card or Collectible Card game brand experience required; experience in Miniature Game brands and RPG systems a plus Proven track record of success in marketing management roles Experience developing and managing marketing budgets along with monitoring costs Actual compensation for this role is based on several factors, including but not limited to job-related skills, qualifications, experience, market conditions and specific work location. Base Salary Range: $115,000-$120,000. Our Commitment
