Senior Marketing Analyst - Data & Reporting The Senior Marketing Analyst - Data & Reporting delivers strategic marketing insights through data analysis, reporting, and audience segmentation. It supports Chamberlain University retention marketing by transforming complex data into actionable intelligence that informs decision-making and enhances campaign performance.

Responsibilities

Possesses sufficient knowledge of marketing business functions to effectively participate in technical analysis, design, construction, and implementation of solutions.

Conduct in-depth analysis of marketing data to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization.

Design and implement audience segmentation strategies to improve targeting and personalization across campaigns.

Plan, execute, and analyze A/B and multivariate tests to evaluate campaign effectiveness and inform future marketing decisions.

Translate business needs into analytical frameworks and data-driven insights that guide strategic marketing initiatives.

Continuously identify opportunities to improve marketing performance and student engagement through data-informed recommendations.

Work in both team and individual contributor settings on assigned tasks, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between data insights and campaign execution.

Collect and extract data from various data sources using native interfaces and SQL.

Collaborate with stakeholders to implement data transformations, resolve data quality issues, and support system changes.

Provide data reports and present data and recommendations to senior leadership to inform decision-making processes.

Consult independently with leadership to obtain feedback and customer input on ways to revise reporting to better serve decision-makers.

Implement and support marketing solutions, platforms and services as a subject matter expert.

Document procedures, instructions, and rules to share knowledge and create standard operating procedures; determine and track metrics to support governance and continuous improvement.

Assist with writing and presenting surveys and reports.

Merges data from multiple sources to create universal data sets for vertical level analysis, reports, and dashboards.

Perform statistical analyses on merged data sets using tools such as R, SPSS, Pandas, or Orange.

Develop and deliver clear, actionable marketing reports and dashboards to support retention strategies and performance tracking.

Automate reports and dashboards to foster self-service business intelligence.

Design, execute, and assemble data reports for ad hoc analysis.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in computer science, statistics, business, or Master’s Degree preferred.

7 years of experience working with relational databases to independently develop custom data solutions, preferably in an educational setting.

Experience with relational databases to independently develop custom data solutions, preferably in an educational setting.

Experience with technology platforms including Google Cloud Platform, Power BI, and CDP.

Experience with customer relationship management tools (Salesforce) and student information systems (Banner).

Experience with marketing/communications systems (Eloqua and Qualtrics) and call center solutions (telephony).

Learning Management Systems (Canvas and E-Value).

Web-enabled survey platforms (Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey).

Experience with SPSS and other statistical packages or methodologies.

Expert knowledge of relational database design principles with exposure to multiple SQL languages; Oracle and Snowflake preferred.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, SharePoint, Forms, Power Automate, etc.).

Expert knowledge of Microsoft Power BI and Report Builder; Cognos and Tableau are a plus.

Ability to independently create custom applications and processes to meet stakeholder needs, including data extraction and aggregation from multiple sources and creation of user-friendly reporting platforms.

Ability to work independently with large data sets to create data solutions.

Competency in all phases of application programming, including development, quality checks, and implementation.

Ability to troubleshoot and develop solutions to technical issues involving data aggregation and reporting.

Ability to adapt to change in a fast-paced environment, be creative, and balance multiple priorities.

Additional Information In support of pay transparency laws, the expected salary range for this position is between $100,000 and $120,000. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
