Overview
Creative Content Coordinator
role at Lakewood Church (Joel Osteen Ministries). The Creative Content Coordinator is responsible for managing the planning, scheduling, and execution of content-related projects that support the department and communication goals of Joel Osteen Ministries and Lakewood Church. This role ensures video and multimedia projects stay on track, are delivered on time, and align with the church’s mission and messaging. Working closely with the Senior Digital Video Producer, Creative Project Specialist, and other team leaders, this position acts as a central hub for content production, fostering collaboration and efficient workflows across departments.
Responsibilities Content Planning & Strategy
Collaborate with the Senior Digital Video Producer to develop and execute content plans that support the church’s mission and departmental objectives
Coordinate the creation of visual and multimedia content for multiple channels
Partner with marketing team members, designers, and project managers to ensure content aligns with integrated campaigns
Ensure that all content adheres to brand voice, tone, and messaging standards
Production Scheduling & Coordination
Coordinate production schedules, editorial calendars, and timelines
Manage logistics for content production, including locations, equipment, and talent from pre-production through post-production
Work with the Senior Digital Video Producer to schedule production meetings and prioritize projects based on urgency and strategic importance
Maintain a master calendar of all content production activities
Coordinate contractor scheduling and support for production shoots and events
Cross-Departmental Communication
Receive video requests from internal departments and ensure timely response
Serve as liaison between departments to facilitate clear communication and deliverables
Project & Workflow Coordination
Track and report on project progress, identifying and resolving bottlenecks
Ensure projects are delivered on time and meet established quality standards
Assist with managing vendor relationships for outsourced production (e.g., freelancers, videographers)
Coordinate the accurate and timely distribution of content across designated channels, ensuring delivery to internal teams such as social media, web, and other platforms once content is completed and approved
Data Management
Organize and archive Marketing video assets within the church’s SAN (Storage Area Network) system
Develop and maintain consistent folder structures and naming conventions for all media
Partner with the video team to ensure media is properly backed up, accessible, and retrievable
Perform other related duties as assigned

Proven ability to coordinate multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Experience with project planning and scheduling software (e.g., Wrike, Asana, Trello, or equivalent)
Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to manage calendars, production schedules, and resource allocation
Proficiency in generating project status reports, tracking progress, and communicating updates to leadership
Familiarity with digital asset management practices, including archiving, naming conventions, and file organization
Working knowledge of video production workflows, from pre-production through post-production
Professional appearance and conduct
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly disposition
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Adobe Creative Cloud preferred
Ability to receive and apply constructive feedback while maintaining a collaborative, service-oriented attitude
Education & Experience
Some college preferred; a Bachelor’s degree in Media, Communications, or other related fields is a plus
Minimum 2 years of experience in content coordination, project management, or production coordination within a creative or media environment
Minimum 2 years of experience with Adobe Creative Cloud
