Fresh Baguette is a fast-growing, artisanal bakery known for its high-quality standards and modern atmosphere. The company was founded in Bethesda, MD in 2013, to bring fresh, made-from-scratch organic breads, pastries, sweets, and croissant itemsinspired by bakeries in Franceto the DMV area. We haveexpanded to eight retail locations, two production bakeries, and a thriving wholesale business. We serve coffee shops, restaurants, hotels, and grocery stores with fresh products every day, 365 days a year.

Social Media & Content Manager (Part-Time)

freelancer
and help share online our authentic French baking and the
joie de vivre
of our brand. If you love editing Reels, writing content that makes people want to engage, and keeping up with the latest social trends, this role is for you. You’ll be the voice behind our posts, the “pen” behind our copy, the eye behind our visuals, and the friendly reply in our DMs. But best yet, you’ll be joining a small, energetic team with lots of ideas in motion and a great place to collaborate, create, and grow your expertise. What You’ll Do Write short, engaging copy for 2 emails or blog posts each week Create and schedule scroll-stopping content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn Maintain a monthly content calendar that match our priorities and goals Edit short-form videos & photos (we’ll provide raw and behind-the-scenes content to work with) to reflect our brand vibe Engage our community by responding to comments, messages, and tagged posts Track what’s working (and what’s not) with simple performance reporting Stay plugged into social trends, foodie culture, DMV events and what’s new in the restaurant world What We’re Looking For 1 year of experience running social accounts (bonus if it’s in food, hospitality, or restaurants). Familiarity with paid social/boosting content is an another bonus. Creative and tech-savvy: strong video editing skills (Reels, TikTok, …), comfortable with Canva, CapCut and/or other content development tools as well as Later or other social scheduling apps. Strong writing skills: knows how to capture a brand’s voice and tell a great story Professional & polished: able to engage with online comments and messages in a thoughtful, professional, and brand-appropriate way Solid management skills: organized, proactive, and able to juggle multiple deadlines Proactive and resourceful: a self-starter who can take initiative, figure things out and come to the team with recommendations And… a love of good food and café culture To apply please e-mail laure.morsli@freshbaguette.com
