Clearwater positions open to candidates located in greater Tampa Bay area. The Instructional Designer performs various tasks related to the design and development of training materials. In addition, the individual in this role will design, develop, and maintain dynamic eLearning training solutions and tools that enhance the capabilities and productivity of KnowBe4's employees. Finally, this position will work closely with the Instructional Technology Manager and subject-matter experts to curate, design, and improve the existing training content. Responsibilities: Conduct structured training needs assessment, and provide detailed recommendations to Instructional Technology Manager of such findings Develop and design training content for employees that is both effective and engaging Consult with Subject Matter Experts (SME) to gather and analyze their input as it relates to the development of new training content and the modification of existing training content Analyze, design, develop and evaluate training for global employees and KnowBe4 employees internally Design interactive training materials including presentations, video modules, practice exercises, classroom activities, and learning aids Create effective knowledge checks and drills Curate and improve existing training content and courses Organize and maintain materials, content, and project documentation Qualifications: Minimum Bachelor's degree in Education or equivalent work experience Experience with Gmail and Google Docs Experience with MS Office (Word and Excel) At least 3-year experience in curating training and development programs Experience in instructional design and with instructional technology Experience with a Learning Management System Excellent grammar and written skills Ability to edit and write effective copy, instructional text, and audio/video scripts Ability to communicate concepts and processes using clear, simple language Knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models Basic understanding of SCORM and xAPI (Tin-Can) Willingness to learn basic HTML Passion for training We offer company-wide bonuses based on monthly sales targets, employee referral bonuses, adoption assistance, tuition reimbursement, certification reimbursement, certification completion bonuses, and a relaxed dress code - all in a modern, high-tech, and fun work environment.
