Audio Video Installer Technician - Lead Low Voltage Tech Job at Definition AV &

We are seeking Skilled Low Voltage Technician, with skill and drive to potentially evolve into a “Hands on” Project Manager, or Lead Tech with greater Residential experience who will have:

Responsibilities:

• Install, Troubleshoot, configure residential audio, video, communication, networking, camera/monitoring systems
• Perform well as a self-starter or as well within a small team of high-level technicians
• Adhere to all quality and safety codes plus present as a well polished and highly-refined technician on project(s)

​​Qualifications:

• Previous experience in low-voltage, residential electronics or other related fields preferred
• Familiarity with electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals preferred
• Familiarity with electrical equipment and hand tools preferred
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills preferred
• Local resident of OC or with unhindered and willing to be on south OC or Santa Monica vicinity projects

• 3+ years of setup/configuration of RESIDENTIAL network(s), AV gear, and associated low-voltage gear
• 1-2 years troubleshooting both analog and digital systems experience
• 1-2 years building AV racks, low voltage cabling, and associated calling termination, and AV and networking installation experience
• A current and valid driver's license
• Drug-free lifestyle (screening required)
• Clean Background Check
• Performing jobs within specific and allowed length of time
• Reliable transportation to and from job sites within Orange County
