Job Description: Director, Business Development - AEC As Director, Business Development - AEC (Architecture + Engineering + Construction), you will have the opportunity and responsibility for relationship development, project development, sales campaigns, and business planning for clients within the Food, Beverage, Life Science, Home and Personal Care Markets. Responsibilities Provide client, technical, and project delivery leadership in the development of capital projects for the Food, Beverage, Life Science, Home and Personal Care markets. Lead and collaborate on the development of front-end programming, planning, schematic design, and preconstruction of projects to be delivered as design-build or EPC solutions. Develop and execute client development and sales strategy to achieve business goals. Develop long-standing client relationships based on trust and technical excellence. Expertise in client development, project development, and project delivery. Focus on overall project success and accomplishment of client objectives. Analyze and develop specialized technical solutions for cGMP facilities. Maintain knowledge of industry standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements. Mentor and provide guidance to other AEC professionals. Lead and coordinate market and trend analysis; client and business development planning. Communicate relevant information on targeted clients and opportunities. Lead and/or assist on client requests for proposals and marketing campaigns. Make an impact day-to-day with your skills and expertise. Requirements 15+ years of experience in the development, design, and construction of facilities. Leadership skills and experience with a drive to grow client relationships. The ability to structure and lead development of design-build and EPC projects. An understanding of facility operational requirements and regulatory requirements. Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing circumstances and improve project outcomes. Entrepreneurial drive with a passion for client relationship development. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to break down complex problems and develop innovative solutions. A working knowledge of local, state, and federal building codes. Experience in the development, design, and delivery of various project types. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Travel is required for client meetings and presentations. BS or MS degree in a related Engineering discipline, Architecture, Construction Management, or related technical degree.
