24 Seven Talent is hiring: Creative Project Manager in Newport Beach
24 Seven Talent, Newport Beach, California, United States
Overview
Creative Project Manager role at 24 Seven Talent. This is a remote freelance position (40 hours a week) with potential to go full-time for the right person. California-based candidates are preferred, but remote is flexible for the right person. If located in another time zone, you must be able to work PST hours.
What You’ll Do
- Own the intake and scoping of all brand design requests, ensuring clarity on goals, deliverables, and success metrics.
- Build and maintain resourcing plans, timelines, and workflows that keep the team focused and on track — even as priorities shift.
- Partner with external agencies and internal cross-functional teams to manage dependencies and deliverables.
- Drive feedback loops and stakeholder alignment, ensuring all voices are heard while protecting creative quality and timelines.
- Anticipate challenges, unblock the team quickly, and adapt plans as priorities and business needs evolve.
- Champion operational excellence by continuously refining processes that make the team more efficient without sacrificing creativity.
- Act as the go-to contact for stakeholders, ensuring visibility and confidence in the team’s work and progress.
- Bring a strong eye for design — participate in creative reviews, help evaluate work against brand standards, and offer thoughtful feedback that elevates the final product.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in creative production, project management, or operations — ideally within in-house creative, brand, or design teams.
- Deep experience running complex, fast-paced creative projects with multiple stakeholders and external partners.
- Comfort with ambiguity and change — you can pivot quickly while keeping the team grounded and focused.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills; you know how to manage feedback and influence without authority.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands and build sustainable workflows.
- An understanding of design principles and brand systems, with the ability to recognize quality work and contribute to creative discussions.
- Familiarity with design processes, creative tools, and agency collaboration models. Experience with Workfront is a huge plus.
