Role: Social Media Coordinator
FLSA: Full Time | Non-exempt | Hourly | Hybrid
Reports to: Chief of Staff/Creative Director
Note: This role is for a future hire; expected in Q4/2025. Candidates must reside in the SoFlo area with a hybrid weekly schedule to the company's headquarters. (Scheduling needs may evolve overtime to more frequent onsite visits)
tinyRHINO is looking for a versatile and highly creative Social Media Coordinator to join our highly motivated and fast-paced marketing team. The Social Media Coordinator will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing social media strategies to enhance brand awareness, drive engagement, build a following and generate leads for tinyRHINO and our clients. This role requires a combination of creativity, analytics, and strategic thinking to effectively communicate across various platforms. The Social Media Coordinator will work closely with our team to ensure that all content aligns with our overall marketing goals.
Key Responsibilities include but limited to:
- Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies aligning with the overall marketing goals.
- Develop and maintain a social media content calendar to ensure consistent posting and engagement.
- Create, curate, and schedule / post engaging content (text, images, videos, captions and more) in alignment with the brand across multiple social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, X, Youtube and others.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as creative and marketing teams.
- Manage and monitor social media accounts, responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely manner to foster community interaction.
- Analyze performance metrics and provide regular reports to assess effectiveness and inform future strategies.
- Stay updated on social media trends, tools, and algorithm changes to optimize accounts and campaigns.
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.
- Optimize content for search engines (SEO) to improve visibility and reach on various platforms.
- Monitor social media channels for feedback and trends that may impact the brand's reputation or strategy.
- Maintain open and effective communication with clients to provide updates, gather feedback, and ensure their vision is reflected in social media strategies.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in marketing, business, or related field; highly preferred.
- Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role, preferably in an agency setting.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, best practices, analytics, tools and trends.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
- Exceptional copywriting, caption writing and storytelling skills with a focus on crafting engaging, on-brand messaging that drives audience interaction and aligns with marketing objectives.
- Proficiency in graphic design tools and video editing software is a plus. (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite etc.)
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas and content.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent proofreading skills with attention to detail to ensure high-quality content delivery.
- Ability to conduct thorough research to stay updated on industry trends and audience preferences.
- Exceptional client communication and relationship management.
- Ability to work independently and with a team.
- Familiarity with project management tools is a plus
