Position Overview As the Social Media Manager, you will provide critical support to fulfilling the mission of Zero Studios with an opportunity to help challenge and define best practices. An entrepreneurial spirit and business-oriented focus are paramount. This mid-level role is ideal for someone with an entrepreneurial mindset who thrives on building communities, managing content creators, and driving measurable brand impact through social. You’ll serve as a day-to-day client partner, leading social execution while balancing creativity, data, and business objectives.
As a Social Media Manager our expectation is that you approach the day-to-day with a positive, and solutions-oriented mindset. We believe the traits of kindness, respect, and empathy are vital to the role and a high degree of emotional intelligence and strategic thinking will be keys to success.
Build and maintain platform-specific content calendars
Translate strategy into actionable plans with clear KPIs
Monitor social and cultural trends to keep content relevant
Collaborate cross-functionally to bring social-first ideas to life
Adapt plans based on performance insights and client feedback
Client & Internal Collaboration
Act as day-to-day social lead for client accounts
Lead client calls, status updates, and social-specific reviews
Communicate clearly, proactively, and professionally
Align with internal strategy, creative, and PM teams to ensure delivery
Integrate social work into the broader marketing strategy for long-term retainer clients
Content Development
Develop and edit captions, hashtags, and post copy
Collaborate with creative team to produce static, video, and interactive content
Ensure content aligns with platform standards and brand tone
Coordinate asset review and approval flows
Creator & Influencer Management
Identify, outreach, and negotiate with creators/influencers
Manage contracts, usage rights, and deliverables
Maintain relationships with trusted creators
Review and provide feedback on creator content
Publishing, Engagement & Reporting
Schedule and publish content across platforms
Manage comments and DMs in brand voice
Compile reports, pull analytics, and present findings to internal and client team s
Monthly Organic/Campaigns are executed on brief, on time, and on brand
Clients trust you as a go-to voice on their social presence
Creators are well-managed, compliant, and creatively aligned
You bring proactive ideas to the table
You spot problems early and solve them collaboratively
You embody ownership, clarity, and communication in your work
Reporting Structure This position reports to the Marketing & Social Director.
