Insomniac produces some of the most innovative, immersive music festivals and events worldwide, featuring state-of-the-art lighting, pyrotechnics, sound design, large-scale art installations, theatrical performers, and next-generation effects. Our events captivate the senses and foster unique fan interactions. We produce 10,000 concerts, club nights, and festivals annually for seven million attendees across 13 countries.
Our flagship event, Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas, is the world’s largest dance music festival, attracting over 525,000 fans over three days. Founded by Pasquale Rotella in 1993 and based in Los Angeles, we are committed to delivering exceptional experiences.
THE ROLE We are seeking a motivated Mid-Level Multimedia Designer with a strong design sense and attention to detail to join our dynamic team. This in-person role is ideal for a designer experienced in graphic design, branding, and print production, eager to develop their skills. You will collaborate with senior designers, art directors, and cross-functional teams to create compelling visual designs aligned with brand identity and project goals.
Responsibilities Create multimedia content including graphics, illustrations, and print materials to support marketing and branding.
Ensure visual assets adhere to brand guidelines for consistency across platforms.
Develop print-ready designs for flyers, packaging, posters, and collateral.
Design visuals for websites, online campaigns, presentations, and interactive media.
Manage projects from concept to completion, meeting deadlines.
Collaborate with creative leads and teams to execute high-quality designs.
Participate in brainstorming and contribute innovative ideas.
Apply design principles, typography, and color theory effectively.
Perform cropping, resizing, retouching, and color adjustments.
Update and modify designs based on feedback.
Maintain organized design files with proper version control.
Qualifications 3+ years in multimedia design, graphic design, branding, or related fields.
Degree or diploma in graphic design or equivalent experience with a strong portfolio.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
Strong creative skills and attention to detail.
Knowledge of printing techniques and color management.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Willingness to learn and adapt to trends and technologies.
Portfolio showcasing design skills.
Bonus: Experience in 3D modeling, illustration, photo retouching, and compositing.
Work Environment Must tolerate loud noise and busy environments. Willing to travel for events during holidays, evenings, and weekends as needed. Applicants must have work authorization in the U.S. without sponsorship.
