Role overview
UX Researchers own end-to-end planning, execution, analysis and reporting of research projects, and consistently achieve research outputs needed by Product teams to inform strategic decisions. The research findings inform product design, end user experience, product direction, market strategy or similar, helping Agoda deliver a world-class customer experience. This role is based in Bangkok with relocation assistance.
Responsibilities
- Lead core end-to-end research activities—driving objectives, hypotheses, methodology, execution, analysis, and communication.
- Plan, scope, conduct, analyze, and communicate research results; demonstrate critical thinking beyond explicit business requests.
- Collaborate with product teams and stakeholders to translate insights into actionable design and product decisions.
Qualifications
- Master degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Information Science, Psychology, Social Science, or related field.
- 7+ years of relevant experience in consumer-facing domains.
- Strong ability to plan, scope, conduct, analyze, and communicate research.
- Experience with qualitative methods (interviews, diary studies, direct observation, think-aloud usability testing, etc.).
- Experience with quantitative research (metrics, survey design, sampling, cross-tabs, statistical concepts, etc.).
- Experience evaluating, negotiating, and working with external research vendors.
- Ability to describe user problems and business opportunities to stakeholders using quantitative and qualitative data.
- Strong critical thinking beyond business requests and excellent storytelling and communication skills (English).
- Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, data-driven environment.
- Knowledge of data privacy and ethics in research activities.
Work environment and relocation
This position is open to worldwide candidates, with relocation support to Bangkok.
