About this team and role: Are you excited about web technologies and the applications built on them that enrich users’ lives? Do you have a passion for helping engineers do their best work and grow in their careers? We are hiring for two Engineering Manager positions: Engineering Manager for the DOM team, responsible for the Gecko implementation of web standards including IndexedDB, Web Workers, Service Workers, Push API and Notifications API that powers websites people use via Firefox. Engineering Manager for SpiderMonkey Javascript team, responsible for Mozilla’s Javascript engine and Javascript standards (TC39), which power the web experiences for Firefox users. Both of these teams work primarily in systems programming (like C++, Rust or WebAssembly) and write tests largely with HTML and JavaScript. Experience in systems programming or deep familiarity with low-level software architecture is highly valued.
