Overview
We are seeking a data-driven Social Media Strategy & Analytics Consultant to support our client’s digital communications goals by delivering actionable insights, platform-specific strategies, and performance-focused recommendations. This role goes beyond day-to-day engagement and focuses on shaping content strategies, analyzing performance across platforms, and using social media data to inform decisions and maximize audience reach and impact.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement platform-specific social media strategies that align with broader communications and campaign goals.
- Track, analyze, and interpret performance metrics across platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube) using tools like Sprout Social, native analytics, and third-party dashboards.
- Produce regular and ad-hoc reports on engagement, audience growth, reach, impressions, content performance, and emerging trends.
- Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights and strategic recommendations for content and campaign planning.
- Identify high-performing content types and optimize future strategies based on data-informed learnings.
- Collaborate with content creators and designers to align strategy with creative direction and audience needs.
- Monitor real-time performance of social campaigns and adjust strategies as needed to enhance impact.
- Support the development of enterprise-level listening reports to monitor key topics, events, and brand reputation.
- Provide guidance on platform capabilities, audience demographics, algorithm changes, and best practices to improve content visibility and engagement.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in social media strategy, analytics, or digital marketing.
- Strong understanding of social media analytics tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Meta Insights, Twitter/X Analytics, LinkedIn Analytics).
- Proven ability to use data to drive decision-making and improve content performance.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to translate data into compelling narratives.
- Knowledge of audience behavior, platform trends, and digital engagement best practices.
- Experience supporting content planning and strategic recommendations in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Comfortable working across multiple platforms and managing competing priorities with accuracy and attention to detail.
