Quince . Quince is hiring a senior technical design and fit expert for a focused 4-month contract role with opportunity for full-time employment. The role involves leading a sprint to reset and standardize fit across all categories of men’s, women’s, and unisex apparel. Responsibilities
Define core fit blocks, reestablish tolerances and grading logic, and ensure fit feedback loops from proto through production. Align U.S. and Hong Kong teams, streamline tech packs, and create a fit system to reduce returns and increase customer satisfaction. Provide leadership to guide teams, influence decision-making, and drive execution across functions and geographies. Set fit standards and own fit tolerances for quality control. Coach fit techs and vendors, host vendor workshops, and train regional Technical Design teams. Manage escalations with sample rooms, own the Fit Tech PLM, and manage SaaS relationships related to fit. Track fit performance with dashboards and lead by example in owned categories. Oversee a full audit and reworking of fit standards; create and validate 20-25 core fit blocks; manage fit through the product lifecycle. Standardize fit logic, use feedback to fix systemic issues, and document and train future teams. Qualifications
10+ years in technical design, fit, or development across multiple apparel categories. 8+ years of fit leadership experience. Experience aligning global cross-functional teams. Ability to work in the San Francisco office 4 days per week. Job Details
