Job Summary
The Part-Time Graphic Designer supports the Marketing, Communications & Public Relations department by creating high-quality visual content that supports the college's branding, outreach, and engagement goals. Working under the direction of the Brand Manager, the designer works with departments across campus to develop promotional materials for internal and external communications. This position helps ensure visual consistency and brand integrity in all projects.
Required Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Two years of experience using computer graphics software Advanced computer graphics skills Excellent proofreading skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple projects Preferred Qualifications
Associate degree or higher Proficiency using Adobe Suite software Essential Functions
Design and produce a variety of materials, including flyers, posters, brochures, digital graphics, signage, and social media content Collaborate with campus departments to develop visual assets for events, programs, and student initiatives Ensure all materials align with college brand standards and messaging guidelines Work closely with the Brand Manager and marketing team to implement creative concepts Assist with light photography and image editing Maintain organized project files and meet established timelines Contribute ideas and design input in team discussions and planning sessions Physical Demands
Must be able to lift or move up to 25 pounds Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time Use of manual dexterity Repetitive use of a keyboard at a workstation The person in this position frequently communicates with others verbally and electronically; must be able to exchange accurate information Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus
