The Role
We’re hiring a Paid Media Strategist who blends channel expertise (Google/Bing/Meta/YouTube/CTV) with analytical rigor. This role is more than reporting metrics—it’s about diagnosing why performance is shifting, identifying what to do next, and executing how to scale growth.
The ideal candidate thrives in performance-driven environments, is fluent in media buying mechanics, and can turn complex data into clear strategies that drive efficient growth.
What You’ll Own
- Manage full-funnel paid growth across:
- Google Ads (Search, Shopping, PMax, Demand Gen, YouTube
- Microsoft Ads (Bing)
- Meta Ads (Adv+ Shopping, Prospecting, Retargeting)
- CTV/Programmatic (MNTN, StackAdapt, or similar)
- Create an insight engine that powers decision-making:
- Cohort and CLTV/CAC views by channel, campaign, and creative
- Attribution triangulation (platform data, GA4, blended models, incrementality)
- MER and contribution margin rollups that align with finance
- Creative performance breakdowns that fuel future brief
- Establish and own an experimentation framework—develop hypotheses, set guardrails, and deliver actionable learnings weekly.
- Manage budget pacing and forecasting, presenting scale-up or pull-back scenarios backed by data.
- Drive search excellence: query mining, negative keyword buildouts, feed optimization, GMC/Bing MC hygiene, RSA testing.
- Oversee signal quality and tracking with strong GTM governance, Meta CAPI, Enhanced Conversions, and first-party events.
- Shape CTV & YouTube strategy: audience testing, geo and frequency controls, creative rotation, lift and attribution analysis.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare ad regulations, copy restrictions, and audience guardrails.
Day-to-Day
- Publish regular performance insights with actions, not just numbers.
- Maintain live dashboards for CAC, MER, ROAS, and LTV/Cohorts.
- Run structured tests across bidding, audiences, landing pages, offers, and creative.
- Translate insights into briefs for creative, email, and SEO.
- Collaborate with agencies and internal stakeholders, while staying hands-on in-platform.
Must-Haves
- 3–5 years managing paid media with direct ownership of performance on Google and Meta.
- Ability to diagnose causality behind performance shifts (not just report results).
- Experience building dashboards (GA4, Looker Studio, Sheets/Excel; SQL is a plus).
- Expertise with tracking and signals (Meta CAPI, Enhanced Conversions, server-side tagging).
- Proven ability to design, run, and evaluate structured tests.
- Strong communication skills—can translate complex analytics into actionable strategies.
- Familiarity with regulated ad environments or restricted categories.
Nice-to-Haves
- YouTube/CTV planning experience (MNTN, StackAdapt, DV360).
- Feed management skills (Google Merchant Center, Bing MC).
- CRO/landing page testing experience.
- Working knowledge of Magento, HubSpot, or BI tools.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $90,000
