Overview

Responsibilities

• Design Creation: Develop original and creative designs for trading cards, coins, packaging, and marketing materials, ensuring they align with Celebrity Mint's branding and vision.
• Concept Development: Collaborate with the team to brainstorm and refine concepts for new products and designs.
• File Preparation: Prepare and manage design files for production in various formats, ensuring all designs meet manufacturing specifications.
• Technical Expertise: Work with a variety of design software and file types (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and vector/raster files).
• Quality Assurance: Review designs for accuracy, consistency, and adherence to branding and client requirements.
• Communication: Maintain clear and proactive communication with team members and clients regarding design progress, updates, and revisions.
• Efficiency: Demonstrate a sense of urgency in meeting deadlines while maintaining the highest standards of quality and creativity.
• Adaptability: Quickly pivot between projects and manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Design Software: Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), CorelDRAW, CAD software (preferred for coin designs), and familiarity with vector (AI, EPS, SVG) and raster (JPEG, PNG, PSD) formats.
• Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects, particularly in product design, packaging, and branding. Please attach to email.
• Attention to Detail: Exceptional eye for detail and commitment to delivering polished and accurate designs.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to work effectively with team members and external partners.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot design challenges and propose creative solutions.
• Time Management: Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks to meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with coin design or trading card artwork.
• 6+ years' of creative design experience
• Knowledge of production processes for coins and printed materials.
• Located in the Houston, TX area for full time, in office position.
