Director of Brand Content & Social Media Strategy

We’re looking for a social media leader who has a proven track record of scaling brands and creating content that can go viral. This is a high-impact role with a faith-based Christian personal development and consulting organization, where your work will shape brand visibility, audience growth, and engagement.

About the Role

You will lead the vision, strategy, and execution of content and social media for multiple brands, including executive personal brands. This role blends strategic leadership, hands-on content creation, and team mentorship to grow reach, engagement, and influence across social media platforms.

Responsibilities

Brand Strategy & Leadership

  • Develop and execute comprehensive content and social media strategies.
  • Partner with executive leadership to position personal and corporate brands as thought leaders in faith-based personal development.
  • Lead and mentor creative teams, contractors, and agencies.
  • Produce story-driven content for Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, and emerging platforms.
  • Maintain consistent brand voice, messaging, and visual identity.
  • Oversee premium video, photo, and written content designed to inspire and engage audiences.

Social Media Growth & Campaigns

  • Architect platform-specific growth strategies to increase reach, engagement, and community loyalty.
  • Build influencer, partnership, and community collaborations.
  • Manage campaign calendars in alignment with launches, events, and seasonal initiatives.
  • Lead organic campaigns to scale reach and engagement without heavy reliance on paid ads.
  • Use trend analysis, algorithm insights, and creative iteration to optimize performance.
  • Establish KPIs and reporting systems to measure success.
  • Analyze results and provide actionable recommendations to leadership.

Qualifications

  • 7–10+ years of experience in social media, brand strategy, or digital content leadership
  • Proven success growing brands and creating viral content
  • Strong portfolio showcasing impactful campaigns and content creation
  • Experienced in leading creative teams or agencies
  • Exceptional storytelling, writing, and communication skills
  • Passionate about faith-based personal development and helping others grow in leadership, purpose, and impact
