Role

This is a full-time on-site role for a Music Teacher for grades TK-8, located in Oakland, CA. The Music Teacher will be responsible for teaching music theory, music performance, and music education. Day-to-day tasks include planning and delivering music lessons, assessing student progress, and preparing students for performances. The Music Teacher will also be responsible for fostering a positive learning environment and encouraging a love for music in students.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of music theory.

• Valid teaching credential is preferred.
• Prior experience teaching music to children is a plus.
