The Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform connects thousands of students with online Photography tutors nationwide. As a tutor on the Varsity Tutors Platform, you’ll have the flexibility to set your own schedule, earn competitive rates, and make a real impact on students’ learning journeys—from the comfort of your home.

Compensation and Benefits

• Base contract rates start at $18/hour, with increases for specialized subjects; rates can reach up to $40/hour for the same student over time.


• Get paid up to twice per week for tutoring sessions you conduct and invoice.

• Tutor remotely using the Live Learning Platform—no commuting required.


• Be matched with students best suited to your teaching style and expertise.

• We handle the logistics—you invoice for sessions, and we take care of payments.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.


• Expertise in Photography and the ability to explain concepts clearly.


• Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles.


• Priority given to those with tutoring or teaching experience, and graduate-level education.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1-on-1 online tutoring sessions in Photography to individual students.

• Manage scheduling and communicate with students as needed.
