Overview
The DMR Operations Manager is responsible for leading the Defective Material Review (DMR) group. This person strategizes and implements solutions for the efficient processing of parts returned from the Operations repair process. Responsibilities include ensuring inventory accuracy and tracking material input/output for the DMR warehouse, defining KPIs to measure DMR performance, and organizing resources and equipment capacity according to business needs and growth.
Responsibilities
- End-to-end responsibility for the DMR area.
- Ensure RTV shipments, requesting RMAs from vendors and sending return shipments are completed in a timely manner.
- Monitor status of the DMR area (piece quantities, dollar values, turn-around time, RMA status, etc.) and report to senior management.
- Coordinate and facilitate weekly DMR status review calls with Quanta Taiwan.
- Provide work assignments to DMR warehouse personnel.
- Submit annual performance reviews for DMR personnel.
- Manage the Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) machines and AOI Technician to prevent shipment of non-repairable parts and provide information to Quality Engineers to reduce damage.
- Manage onsite validation retest fixtures provided by part OEMs to retest and confirm line failures.
- Manage the Offline repair group.
- Control physical inventory in the RTV area.
- Manage DMR receipt functions; ensure proper PN/SN/Part Type is processed into DMR Receipt and maintain flow of parts into DMR receipt.
- Manage packaging material inventory levels for RTV.
- Manage rack and mechanical part repair as necessary.
- Serve as escalation point for RTV when dealing with vendors/QCI Buyers/Sales Group.
- Escalate to Program Manager, Quality Manager or QE as appropriate.
- Manage credit transactions associated with RTV.
- Provide data analysis reporting to support other functions and to identify trends and patterns.
- Ensure timely execution of cycle counts and timely resolution of issues identified during cycle counting.
- Maintain all housekeeping and safety standards.
- Instruct and train all DMR personnel in proper procedures and regulations, ensuring appropriate documentation is completed.
- Train, develop and motivate front-line employees through effective communication and leading by example.
Minimum Requirements
- Must have a minimum 3-5 years leading WH and/or production operations and a minimum of 1-2 years of shipping, receiving and inventory control experience.
- Must have ERP system experience, SAP experience a plus.
- Must be proficient with Word & Excel.
- BS degree in engineering, business administration or related field experience.

- Able to operate pallet jack and/or forklift.
