As we continue to expand, we are seeking a polished and proactive Public Relations Assistant to help strengthen our brand through clear communication, resident engagement, and memorable client experiences.
Purpose of the Role
The Public Relations Assistant supports Valor Capital’s external image and internal communication efforts by maintaining strong, consistent, and proactive messaging between the company and its valued homeowners, residents, and brand community.
This role plays a vital function in helping the company communicate effectively, protect its reputation, enhance client satisfaction, and elevate the resident experience. The PR Assistant supports the companies broader goals by producing clear communications, assisting with events, and keeping residents engaged and informed during all phases of project turnover and community development.
Key Responsibilities
Resident-Facing Communication
- Serve as the frontline communication point for current residents regarding updates, questions, and announcements.
- Draft and distribute community newsletters, progress updates, event invitations, and notices.
- Maintain a positive communication tone that reflects the company’s luxury brand image.
- Ensure residents feel informed, acknowledged, and heard. Especially during post-construction transition.
Brand Reputation Management
- Monitor and help resolve concerns or feedback before they escalate.
- Track public sentiment using internal feedback logs or social references.
- Help protect and strengthen the brand image through calm, clear, and factual communication.
- Assist in identifying happy residents who may serve as future brand ambassadors or referral sources.
Media and Internal Coordination
- Collaborate with the Marketing Team to ensure consistency of message, visuals, and timing.
- Support the creation and formatting of client-facing materials including newsletters, videos, or surveys.
- Participate in team calls and briefings related to sales events, resident relations, or PR campaigns.
Event & Experience Support
- Assist in planning, promoting, and executing resident events (e.g., ribbon cuttings, grand openings, HOA meetings).
- Support preparation and distribution of PR kits, welcome packets, and branded materials.
- Attend key events to support logistics and ensure guests are welcomed and informed.
Tools & Documentation
- Maintain a clean, organized communication log of outgoing messages and resident feedback.
- Help manage and update the resident contact directory and internal newsletter lists.
- Support the preparation of post-event summaries and feedback reports.
- Coordinate with concierge or building managers to ensure alignment on messaging and service handlings.
Qualifications
- Strong writing, proofreading, and communication skills.
- Prior experience in PR, hospitality, client relations, or communications preferred.
- Professional tone and appearance and confident in representing a luxury brand.
- Comfortable using email, Excel/Sheets, CRMs, and messaging tools.
- Bilingual fluency (Spanish-English) is a strong plus.
- Able to attend evening or weekend events occasionally when needed.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary ranges for this position vary by experience and role, typically starting from $50,000 and scaling based on qualifications up to $65,000.
