Overview

We’re looking for a Content Strategy Manager to shape Chime’s organic growth by building editorial programs that connect with audiences and drive search performance. In this role, you’ll lead the strategy behind the content we create—focusing on discoverability, storytelling, and trend-driven topics. You’ll partner closely with SEO, Digital PR, Brand Marketing, Product Marketing, and Creative teams to develop high-quality, search-informed editorial content that attracts and engages new audiences. With support from team members who manage execution and optimization, you’ll stay focused on what we create—and why—to ensure our editorial programs make a measurable impact.

The base salary offered for this role and level of experience will begin at $103,680.00 and up to $144,000.00. Full-time employees are also eligible for a bonus, competitive equity package, and benefits. The actual base salary offered may be higher, depending on your location, skills, qualifications, and experience.

In this role, you can expect to

  • Own the editorial content strategy with a focus on organic growth, visibility, and alignment with audience search behavior.
  • Partner with SEO, Digital PR, and Brand Marketing to identify opportunities for content that meets audience intent across evergreen, trending, and timely topics.
  • Lead the development of editorial programs and campaigns that drive brand visibility while meeting measurable organic search goals.
  • Collaborate with Creative, Product Marketing, and cross-functional teams to ensure all editorial content reflects Chime’s brand voice and storytelling standards.
  • Monitor industry trends, search data, and competitive activity to keep our editorial strategy fresh and forward-looking.
  • Act on performance insights (traffic, engagement, rankings, earned media) to refine content direction and improve outcomes over time.
  • Contribute to Chime’s broader organic growth strategy by ensuring editorial content aligns with SEO, AEO, and Social Search initiatives.

To thrive in this role, you have:

  • 5+ years of experience developing editorial strategies for consumer audiences in digital-first environments.
  • A deep understanding of SEO, digital PR, and how editorial content contributes to organic growth and discoverability.
  • A proven track record of building content programs that drive measurable audience growth and engagement.
  • Experience partnering with creatives, analysts, and marketers to bring editorial strategies to life.
  • Strong storytelling skills and the ability to translate trends and insights into compelling content ideas.
  • Comfort analyzing performance data and applying it to inform strategy and creative direction.
  • Curiosity, agility, and a passion for helping audiences discover what matters.
