Overview

SEO Consultant and Sales Representative - USA. We seek the SEO consultant "MVP" to join our sales team. You will be the face of SEO Sherpa to new sales inquiries, guiding prospects from warm leads to closed deals. You will explain our process in plain language, adopt a consultative sales approach, ask questions to understand a prospect's needs, diagnose their SEO issues and opportunities, audit their site and market, and develop end-to-end SEO strategies that deliver on their goals. Week to week, you will manage dozens of inbound leads from first contact to discovery calls, and from strategy walkthrough to client onboarding, acting as a bridge between sales and operations. This role encompasses SEO auditing, strategy development, pitch presentations, telesales, negotiation, and sales administration. We expect cutting-edge SEO and PPC know-how and excellent sales skills (or the ability to learn quickly). We provide sales scripts and training to help you succeed. Preference is given to candidates in the United States or in EST-compatible time zones.

Responsibilities

  • Perform SEO audits and develop end-to-end SEO strategies aligned with client goals; present strategies and support sales and onboarding.
  • Audit prospect sites and markets; guide prospects through the process in plain English; diagnose opportunities and issues.
  • Manage inbound leads from first contact to discovery calls, strategy walkthroughs, and client onboarding; act as a bridge between sales and operations.

Requirements

  • Previous SEO/PPC experience required; passion for digital sales and a positive attitude.
  • Strong digital marketing sales background; high-ticket sales experience is a plus but not essential. If you are a sales superstar but lack high-ticket experience, we will train you.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to all audiences; concise, compelling emails and pitch presentations.
  • Motivated self-starter with KPI-driven mindset; goal-oriented and results-focused.
  • Must be in the United States or able to work in the EST time zone.

Qualifications

  • Experience in SEO and PPC across multiple industries; proficient with SEO tools (e.g., Ahrefs, Semrush) and translating insights into robust strategies.
  • Holistic view of digital marketing; versatility across online channels, not just search.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills; ability to establish trust with clients and internal teams.

Benefits

  • Base salary, uncapped commission, and warm leads.
  • Opportunity to work with a talented team on an important mission.
  • Unlimited paid time off for vacation, sick, and wellness days.
  • Open, transparent company culture with access to business metrics.
  • 100% company-paid health insurance and annual airfare.
  • Profit-sharing: 8-15% of net profit distributed among team members.
  • Regular training, professional workshops, and book purchases.
  • International team retreats and meet-ups for our remote-first workforce.
  • A fun work culture that values both your work and our clients' success.
