LATAM Technical Sales Director – Broadband Technologies

Overview

We’re an established innovator in broadband infrastructure solutions, empowering service providers with cutting-edge technologies that drive connectivity forward. Our portfolio spans DOCSIS, PON, and next-gen access platforms, and we’re expanding our reach across Latin America and other international markets. We’re looking for a dynamic, bilingual Technical Sales Representative to join our team and help us build strong relationships with clients, deliver technical expertise, and drive revenue growth across the region.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage relationships with broadband service providers, OEMs, and channel partners in Latin America and other international territories
  • Present and promote DOCSIS and PON solutions to technical and executive stakeholders
  • Conduct product demos, technical presentations, and solution consultations in both English and Spanish
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to tailor solutions to customer needs
  • Support pre-sales and post-sales activities, including RFP responses, trials, and deployments
  • Identify new business opportunities and contribute to strategic account planning
  • Represent the company at industry events, webinars, and trade shows
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and sales forecasts

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in technical sales within the broadband or telecommunications industry
  • Strong understanding of DOCSIS (3.0/3.1/4.0) and PON (GPON, XGS-PON, etc.) technologies
  • Fluent in English and Spanish; Portuguese proficiency is a strong plus
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills across technical and nontechnical audiences
  • Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles and build long-term client relationships
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote or hybrid environment
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% (international)

Bonus Skills

  • Experience with network architecture, RF engineering, or fiber deployment
  • Familiarity with broadband standards and regulatory environments in LATAM
  • Technical certifications (e.g., SCTE, Cisco, Calix, CommScope)
  • Experience with Hubspot or similar sales CRM
